fossil collection is represented almost entirely by a donation of Eocene
Green River shale by William Houston. We have 1,780 specimens on 642 samples. The material represents mostly Heteroptera, Homoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, and Hymenoptera. The shale is 40-45 million years old and collecting data are as follows:
